There are last than 150 days until the next Olympic games and 24 Hour Fitness, the third largest fitness chain, is sponsoring five athletes that will be representing the US.

“Our distinguished athletes come from diverse backgrounds. They are each compelling, inspiring and relatable,” stated Mark Smith, Chief Executive Officer, 24 Hour Fitness.

So without further ado, here are the super star athletes competing for the US in the games.

Gwen Jorgensen

Not only is she a two-time world champion triathlete, she is also the only US woman to win world titles in a triathlon one after another. She is used to getting first. She has won every race since May 2014 in the ITU World Triathlon Series (WTS,) making that a whopping 12 consecutive wins. She is the first triathlete ever to have an undefeated season. She has champion stamina for sure.

Conor Swyer

This guy is no amateur to the Olympic games with a gold medal to prove it. In the London 2012 games, he was a member of the winning US 4×200-meter freestyle relay team. Not to mention, he has won a total of 14 medals in major international competitions.

Lex Gillette

He may be visually impaired, but nothing stops Gillette. He won a silver medal in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Paralympic Games. He is currently the world record holder in the F11 Men’s long jump. He is also the only blind athlete to ever eclipse the 22-foot barrier in the long jump.

Cortney Jordan

Another swimmer joins the team. Jordan has 8 medals from both the 2008 and 2012 Paralympic games, including a gold in the 50m freestyle and five silvers, one from the 50m freestyle, two in the 100m freestyle and two in 400m freestyle.

Alysia Montana

This runner is a seven-time US outdoor champion. She represented the US at the London 2012 Olympic games. Besides being a super star runner, she also is known for embracing her femininity by training with a flower in her hair. So, she doesn’t mind standing out.

There you have it, the five 24 Hour Fitness team members all ready to conquer the next Olympic games.
